Learn the History. Lead the Future
We believe that progress is more than just an idea; it is something we actively shape.

WHERE HISTORY MEETS ACTION
At Action Academy, we’re not here to give you a civics lecture—we’re here to show you that democracy is about more than elections or a system for governing. It’s about a society that is just and inclusive and every voice counts—including yours.
Back in the 1960s, students your age—people like John Lewis and Diane Nash—didn’t wait around for permission to lead. They organized, spoke out, and changed the course of history. That same power? You’ve got it too.
Democracy wasn’t handed to us—it was built by everyday people who refused to stay silent. Their stories are more than history lessons—they’re a call to action.
We help you connect the dots between past movements and what’s happening now, so you can take what worked then and apply it to today’s fight for justice and equality.
You’re not just part of a system—you’re part of a movement. What you do now matters. You have the power to shape what comes next.
Let’s make history—together.
Action Academy Leaders emphasizes that effective leadership is built on strong relationships, fostering empathy, trust, collaboration, and authentic connection over authority.
Changemakers are driven by a deep passion to uplift others, taking action to solve problems and spark meaningful change in their communities.
our 50 state strategy
Civic knowledge is more important than ever, but many young people—especially in key states—lack the tools to fully understand how democracy works. With misinformation spreading, it's crucial to have accurate, accessible civic education to help you take informed action.
Our goal is to engage students from all 50 states by the next Presidential election. We’ve already reached 43 states (86% of our goal!) and will focus on the remaining 7 in the next two years. We’ll prioritize swing states and competitive races, where your voice can make a real impact.
By getting involved, you can help strengthen democracy, learn how to advocate for your rights, and shape the future of your state and country. Join us in making a difference!
“Democracy is unfinished business.”
